Q: What information should I provide in my ad?
Q: When I click an ads title link nothing happens / I dont see the ad, how can I fix this?
Q: What information should I provide in my ad?
A:
Your ad should contain as much relavent information as possible. For instance, when selling a book you should include the Title, Edition, Hardcover or Paperback, Author, book condition, the exact class name and number (EX: Machine Architecture cis-350-01), asking price, your first name, phone # and even best time to call. The more info in your ad increases the chance that a user using the search engine will find what they are looking for.
Q: When I click an ads title link nothing happens / I dont see the ad, how can I fix this?
A:
The main reason this happens is because you have a popup blocker installed. The simple work around is to hold your "Ctrl" button while clicking the link. If you don't wish to do that everytime you can, if your using Internet Explorer, add http://itrader.clarion.edu as a trusted site. Here is how it is done:
1.
From the Internet Explorer Tools menu, click Internet Options.
2.
In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Security tab.
3.
Click the Trusted sites icon, and then click the Sites button.
4.
In the Trusted sites dialog box, enter the Web site URL ("http://itrader.clarion.edu") in the "Add this Web site to the zone:" box.
5.
Uncheck the "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone" checkbox.
6.
Click the Add button, Click OK and your done.
